Privacy policy
Effective October 17, 2026.
The short version
SlipSend stores your data on your device. We do not run a server that receives your receipts, trips, or expenses. We cannot see them.
What stays on your device
- Trips, expenses, attendees, notes, and settings.
- Receipt images and the PDFs the app creates.
- Text recognized from receipts, which is processed on your device.
What leaves your device, and only when you choose
- Email. When you send receipts, the app opens your mail app. The message goes from your mail account to the address you configured. Your mail provider and your expense system handle it under their own policies.
- Export and backup. Files go wherever you send them through the system share sheet.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data. We do not have it.
Permissions
- Camera, to scan receipts. You can use manual entry or import instead.
- Notifications, for local reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
Deleting your data
Delete a receipt or trip in the app, or delete the app to remove everything. We cannot recover deleted data. Back up first if you want a copy.
Children
SlipSend is a business tool and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes and the new version is posted here.
